Job Title: Strategic Marketing Director – Global Dairy
Location: Flexible with regular travel to head-office in Peterborough, UK and other sites.
We are delighted to be recruiting for an exciting new senior leadership opportunity for a proven Strategic Marketing professional with Global Dairy market experience to join our team in this newly created role.
Working closely with the Dairy UK MD, AB Agri CEO and wider leadership team you will use your expert knowledge of the Global Dairy market to provide direction on growth strategies to drive value for our customers across the dairy value chain and strengthen our brand globally.
Using clear strategy and strong leadership some of your key responsibilities will include:
1. Design and implementation of global and regional marketing plans to support strategic decision making of where we play and how we win.
2. Delivery of a positioning process to inform specific Global Dairy business objectives in areas we can win using our unique offering.
3. Analysis and translation of market trends and opportunities to support growth plans and strategic direction of the Global Dairy business.
4. Build meaningful market and customer analytics and use these insights to adjust our opportunities and approach as needed to deliver competitive performance.
5. Development of value propositions for customer segments, aligning specific solution-focused offerings for each segment.
6. Working with commercial and sales teams to drive sales pipelines, monitoring effectiveness and using data and analytics to suggest improvements ensuring return on market investment. Capture synergies across our dairy businesses, replicating best practice.
This is a great opportunity for someone with a solid understanding of strategic marketing within the Global Dairy sector to directly contribute to our growth with overall responsibility for strategic, tactical, marketing and branding.
To be successful in this role some of the things we are looking for include:
1. Demonstrable experience within a senior strategic marketing role working with technical products, from a dairy background.
2. Ability to understand customer and competitor considerations in developing strategic options to achieve objectives.
3. Strong commercial acumen – able to understand how value is created and retained within a market or business.
4. Strong awareness of key drivers in the external market and ability to source information through external networks.
5. Experience of using strategic analysis tools providing leadership and guidance through the use of market data, insights and analytics.
6. Experience of working with global reach in international markets.
Location: For this role we are flexible on location for the right skill set, we are looking for someone with the ability to travel internationally working closely with leadership and regional teams.
