We are looking for a highly skilled Advanced Practitioner Prescriber to join our team in Gateshead. An exciting opportunity has arisen for an advanced practitioner in our Community Treatment Team. If that sounds like you, we'd love to hear from you.
This post is for half a day per week.
There are a number of patients within the secondary care service that are stable on Lithium with no new side effects, complications, or mental health symptoms. This role is to support this group of patients who are stable on Lithium to ensure continued prescribing and monitoring at the level of CTT.
Main Duties of the Job
To prescribe and monitor for those patients stable on Lithium. This post will be split across Newcastle and Gateshead Community Treatment Teams.

Person Specification
Education and Qualification
* First Level Registered Nurse RNMH, RMN, RNLD or equivalent first level qualification e.g. Social Worker, OT, Clinical Psychologist, etc.
* Skills and experience in treatment of those with psychosis.
* Degree or equivalent qualification or experience in evidence-based treatments relevant to Pathway.
* ENB 998/P126/127 Student Assessor.
* Safeguarding Children and Adults Training.
Knowledge and Experience
* Experience of working within a multi-disciplinary team and managing complex cases and risk.
* Commitment to partnership working both multi-agency and multi-disciplinary.
* Experience of collaborative working across agencies and professional disciplines.
Skills and Competencies
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including negotiation and conflict management.
* Evidence of effective organisational skills.
* Evidence of maintaining accurate and contemporaneous record keeping and excellent report writing.
* Evidence-based clinical skills.

Salary: £46,148 to £52,809 a year pro rata per annum.
