The extensive development has also included the introduction of a tranquil spa and pioneering ELITE luxury gym and executive wellness facility, alongside a stunning events pavilion that seats up to 180 guests with a unique and glamorous champagne and cocktail bar Key Responsibilities • Carrying out a variety of planned and reactive maintenance tasks as directed, always demonstrating flexibility in relation to tasks allocated, which will be varied and not necessarily of an electrical nature. • Fault finding, diagnosis and repair of electrical installations, systems, equipment and components. • Carrying out inspection, servicing and planned preventative maintenance works in line with departmental programs to a broad range of mechanical and electrical building engineering services. • Providing on-call cover. • Making adequate records of all installation, repair, servicing and testing work undertaken. • Assisting the building maintenance teams as necessary with electrical aspects of installation, alterations, refurbishments and maintenance tasks. • Providing detailed technical advice relevant to your discipline and assist management as required. • Working individually or as part of a team to complete repair and maintenance tasks. This could include working alongside the building maintenance team or external contractors. • Managing and prioritise own workload to complete repairs in a timely manner and in accordance with SLA timescales. • Using relevant IT systems to record all work undertaken and related expenditure. • Adhering to company health and safety policies and procedures, identifying hazards and undertake risk assessments. • Communicating effectively with department managers to minimize inconvenience when planning and undertaking building maintenance. • Ensuring that formal qualifications required for the role are kept up to date. Key Skills, Qualities & Experience • Level 3 electrical qualification • 18th edition wiring regulations • 2391-52 inspection and testing • ECS gold card holder • PAT testing experience • Emergency lighting operation and testing experience • PASMA & IPAF qualifications would beneficial but not essential • Knowledge of fire alarms and plant operation/maintenance would be an advantage but not essential • Confident, self-motivated and present a professional persona in all circumstances • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Excellent organisational skills • The ability to demonstrate a strong customer service ethos and the ability to deliver consistently high levels of service delivery • Utmost attention to detail when carrying out tasks • Previous experience in a fast paced, 24/7 commercial environment • Tools, equipment and uniform will be provided • Full clean driving license required Benefits Grantley Hall offers a wide range of benefits and opportunities for all employees: A monthly service charge - typically £2,400 annually 31 days holiday increasing to 33 days with length of service Access to earnings before payday (Wagestream) Free parking Complimentary meals when on duty Discounted modern and spacious live-in accommodation Celebrating success Company parties, winter award ceremonies and team events and incentives through the year.
