We are looking for a Jewellery CAD Designer to join a renowned jewelry design studio known for its exquisite craftsmanship and unique creations, located in Manchester.
Salary & Terms
* Monday to Friday 9:00am to 5:00pm
* Salary between £35,000 - £40,000 a year depending on experience
* Work in a creative and collaborative environment.
Role & Responsibilities
* Collaborate with clients and the design team to understand their vision for custom jewelry.
* Use CAD software to create detailed 3D jewelry design renderings and models.
* Assist in the selection of gemstones and materials to match the client's preferences.
* Provide design recommendations and solutions to enhance the aesthetics and functionality of jewelry pieces.
* Work closely with master jewelers to ensure the accurate translation of CAD designs into finished jewelry.
* Create prototypes and samples for client approval.
* Maintain organized design files and documentation.
* Stay updated on industry trends and emerging CAD technologies.
* Participate in client consultations and design presentations.
Minimum Requirements
* 2+ years of experience in jewelry CAD design.
* Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., Rhino, Matrix, CAD Jewellery Design).
* Knowledge of 3D printing and rapid prototyping is a plus.
