Job introduction This role is key to meeting our net zero and fuel poverty targets for our own housing stock in Brighton & Hove. The successful candidate will lead on the development, delivery and management of a range of renewable and energy efficiency projects for the Housing Revenue Account (HRA). You will support and assist the delivery of Corporate Plan, Net Zero & Circular Economy ambitions, alongside the city-wide Housing Strategy and the Fuel Poverty & Affordable Warmth Plan. The post-holder will work as part of a team to meet corporate priorities within the strategic framework of Brighton & Hove City Council, in addition to leading key home energy efficiency and renewable energy projects, ensuring robust budget monitoring, compliance reporting and programme delivery. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners and stakeholders to identify opportunities, funding and deliverable energy efficiency and renewable energy projects. You will use data to evidence investment opportunities and to demonstrate benefits, from project initiation through delivery and evaluation. Additional information Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is less than 37 hours or term-time only.
