This larger than life specialist nursery and primary day school is currently seeking a teaching assistant to join their team. This school proudly supports over 120 children from the age of 3 with severe or profound and multiple learning difficulties, including children with autism. Every child is invited to enjoy a catered curriculum that builds confidence, self esteem, social skills and education. This role is needed on a full time basis, Monday:Friday. All applicants for this position must have the following requirements to be considered:
* Relevant SEN experience
* Experience (voluntary or paid) working with children and young adults
* GCSE Maths and English or equivalent
* Eligibility to work in the UK
Responsibilities:
* Supporting in the delivery of engaging and interactive lessons and educational activities
* Supporting learners with SEN on a 1:1, small group and whole class basis
