An exciting opportunity has become available for an enthusiastic and motivated individual who would like to further develop within an operational management role and a complex and interesting clinical group.
Main duties of the job
Your role will be to operationally manage the department and to support the ongoing transformation work while providing clear leadership and ensuring delivery against our performance goals.
You will provide leadership and expert advice to your teams to help deliver high standards of care and quality, patient-centred service with an ethos around continuous improvement. The post holder will need to have experience in operational service delivery and needs to be flexible to the requirements of managing fast-paced service.
You will work closely with the clinical teams and departmental heads to ensure the delivery of the key national targets, financial performance, efficient delivery of high-quality and patient focused services and development of regional services across the West Midlands. You will get local, regional and national experience working within existing clinical networks and commissioners to also gain strategic expertise.
Forming part of the Management Team, the post holder will undertake a wide range of duties to support the Divisional Director of Operations, General Manager, Clinical Service Director, Associate Director of Nursing and other senior members of the clinical group management team in the delivery of performance against a broad range of objectives and targets. The post holder will also support the Divisional Team with specific projects to modernise and improve services and assist in the development of the Trust and service strategy.
