Job Description: We are seeking a motivated and experienced Deputy Registered Children's Care Home Manager to support the Registered Manager in the day-to-day operations of our care home. The successful candidate will assist in ensuring the highest standards of care for our residents and will play a key role in staff supervision, regulatory compliance, and the development and implementation of care plans.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Assist the Registered Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the care home.
2. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
3. Support, mentor, and supervise care staff.
4. Help develop and implement individualized care plans for each child.
5. Foster a positive and inclusive environment for residents and staff.
6. Liaise with external agencies, families, and other stakeholders.
7. Assist in managing budgets and resources effectively.
Requirements:
1. Relevant qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 4/5 in Health and Social Care).
2. Proven experience in a similar role within a children's care setting.
3. Strong leadership and management skills.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
5. In-depth knowledge of relevant regulations and best practices.
