The appointed Team Manager will have:
1. QCF Diploma Level 5 (or equivalent) in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or related subject) or be prepared to work toward this.
2. Experience in managing a large staff team within a Health and Social Care setting.
3. Able to provide coaching, advice and support to staff.
4. Knowledge of CQC requirements, Safeguarding, best practice around person-centred planning and ability to work to, and monitor, quality standards.
5. Can work flexibly to meet the needs of the people we work with; this could include occasionally working rota shifts including evenings, weekends, sleep-in or waking night shifts.

The Role
We have exciting and rewarding opportunities to work alongside people with profound and multiple learning disabilities in Basingstoke. The role of the Team Manager is to effectively support the team to provide excellent, flexible support in line with YOU’s values at all times.
You will be responsible for the development and management of the staff rotas to ensure people receive their support and cover in the way that best suits those we work with, ensuring all record keeping reaches the required standards for Care Quality Commission and Hampshire County Council.
As the Team Manager, you will have an excellent understanding of safeguarding, risk management, supporting people with complex health needs, health and safety, recruitment, anti-discriminatory practice, local knowledge, and developing opportunities for people.
