The Role: Senior Administrator Are you a highly organised multitasker with a passion for making a difference? As a Senior Administrator at Russell House, you'll be at the heart of our operations, ensuring everything runs smoothly so our young guests can focus on having fun. From managing schedules to keeping things stocked and supporting our team, you'll play a key role in our mission. What You'll Be Doing: Reception & Communication Be the friendly face and first point of contact for all enquiries via phone, email, and in person. Manage all incoming and outgoing mail efficiently. Support for the Registered Manager Schedule appointments, meetings, and visits while taking accurate notes. Oversee diary management to keep things running seamlessly. Maintain petty cash accounts in line with Kids’ guidelines. Stock & Resource Management Process and track resource requests, including equipment, stationery, and other essentials. Monitor and manage the Iron Gate ordering system. Data & Administration Process and track all annual leave and sickness absences. Maintain and circulate key internal information such as contact lists and colleague databases. Provide accurate reports to support monitoring information for South Gloucestershire 0-25 Service. Recruitment & Induction Support Assist the Registered Manager with recruitment, including note-taking during interviews. Organise local inductions for new colleagues. Payroll & Staff Data Management Ensure accurate payroll data for employees and sessional colleagues Support compliance with organisational staff data requirements. IT & Technical Support Serve as the first point of contact for IT inquiries, liaising with national technical support teams as needed. Health & Safety Compliance Assist the senior team in ensuring all health and safety policies are met. Compile information for health and safety reports required for Ofsted inspections. Training Coordination Arrange and book colleague training sessions. Keep training matrices and staff training profiles up to date. What We’re Looking For: At least 12 months of experience in a similar administrative role. Strong proficiency in MS Office, including Teams, Excel, and Word. Exceptional organisational and planning skills. Keen attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks. Ability to handle multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure. A collaborative team player with strong communication skills. Educated to at least NVQ Level 2. Why Join Us?
