Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant

Are you eager to support children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and help them achieve their goals? We are looking for a committed SEN Teaching Assistant to join a dynamic primary SEND school in Merton. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about making a real impact on young learners' lives.
Your Role:
1. Provide tailored support to students with SEN, both individually and in small groups, to enhance their learning experience.
2. Collaborate with teachers to implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and adapt activities to meet each child's needs.
3. Encourage a positive and inclusive classroom environment where every student feels supported and valued.
4. Assist with daily classroom tasks and activities, ensuring all students can participate fully.
5. Maintain open communication with parents and carers, sharing regular progress updates and celebrating achievements.
About You:
1. Previous experience working with SEN students is a plus, but a positive attitude, patience, and enthusiasm are essential.
2. Flexibility and creativity to adapt learning approaches for diverse needs.
3. Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills to support both students and staff.
4. While not required, having a driver's license and access to a vehicle may be beneficial for the Merton location.
