Job Description
Procter & Gamble is a global producer of a wide range of consumer products such as Dreft, Gillette, and Pampers. Our Belgian headquarters is located in Strombeek-Bever, while we manufacture dishwasher tablets in Mechelen. This is a rapidly growing market, and we need substantial support. Will you take on the role of Electromechanical Technician (m/f/x)?
As an Electromechanical Technician, you will have a variety of responsibilities:
* Troubleshooting issues during production process breakdowns.
* Performing interventions on the automatic controls of the production process (PLC Allen Bradley) or within the automated warehouse.
* Carrying out preventive maintenance activities across all areas (mechanical, electrical, etc.).
In summary, as an Electromechanical Technician, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and adjustment of the electrical and mechanical components of our machines. You will also be involved in specific technical projects, such as modifying machine controls for innovations, conducting electrical and mechanical verifications during the startup of new installations, and more!
You will collaborate with your colleagues to enhance the capacity of your team by providing various training and educational opportunities.

Profile
* You possess a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Mechanics, Electromechanics, Electricity, Control Engineering & Instrumentation, or relevant experience. A strong affinity for technology is a must!
* You pay close attention to safety and are willing to start in a shift system (3 shifts) in an operational environment. Depending on the department where you begin, day work may also be an option.
Professional Skills
* Explain technical operations to customers or users and assist them in utilizing the installation.
* Input, reset, or modify automation programs, download to a programmable logic controller, and perform checks.
* Document intervention follow-up data and communicate the information to the relevant department.
* Provide remote support to users of installations.
* Develop and modify technical instructions, maintenance procedures, testing procedures, etc.
* Repair installations by replacing and/or repairing electrical, electronic, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic components.
* Install automation equipment, receivers, control circuits, etc. on the machinery.
* Determine conditions and procedures based on technical documentation or maintenance data.

Job Qualifications
