This is an exciting opportunity to join a National Building consultancy to work with the growth of a new regional north west office. You will be working closely with the regional MD to help grow existing relationships and foster new relationships within the public sector.
The role shall be instrumental in enhancing the reputation of the business and improving awareness of the brand.
The role will involve:
1. Work Winning and Tenders
This will involve developing relationships with existing Clients and Consultants and cultivating a strong business network which provides additional opportunities for the business.
You will:
1. Attend and assist with planning and organising networking events, conferences, workshops.
2. Research and gather market intelligence on potential Clients/projects and form appropriate business proposals.
3. Create development plans and growth projections.
4. Where necessary, actively assist the Preconstruction team with PQQ's, Submissions and Presentations.
5. Support framework opportunities.
Strategy and Planning
You will:
1. Work with business unit and management teams across the business to translate Company and Business Unit plans into workable Business Development strategies that will deliver sufficient opportunities to meet targets.
Data and Analysis
You will:
1. Ensure a “Bid no Bid” score is given to each lead (and recorded on CRM) as soon as is practically possible.
2. Review pipeline frequently with Business Unit teams to ensure effort is not being wasted on unsuitable opportunities.
3. Be responsible and accountable for Customer Service Questionnaires, including Net Promoter Scores.
4. Provide Forecast and Trend analysis of past and future workload patterns/levels.
Suitable applicants should have good overall knowledge of the construction market - specifically public sector works. You must also have worked within a framework and non-framework environment.
Local North West knowledge is essential.
