Salary: £29,075 Pro rata dependent on experience, plus bonus and other benefits.
The Opportunity

Come and join our expanding Sizewell C (SZC) team and work on one of the most exciting and largest megaprojects in the UK, whilst being at the forefront of the UK’s climate change agenda and energy policy. Following on from the success of Hinkley Point C (HPC), the SZC Project is a nuclear new build project in Suffolk, which has obtained planning approval and Government financing support. The project has started construction and is now seeking private investment. When completed, it will provide dependable electricity to 6 million homes for 60 years, which along with renewables, will support Britain to achieve Net Zero by 2050.

We have a fantastic opportunity to join us as a Visitor Centre Guide.
The Role
As a Visitor Centre Guide, you will be at the forefront of engaging with a wide range of visitors, providing them with a memorable and informative experience. You will deliver guided tours of our construction site, provide information about the Sizewell C project, and promote understanding of nuclear energy and its role in sustainable power generation. You will be based in a brand new visitor centre with our colleagues from Sizewell B.
The visitor centre is open five days per week and we are looking for multiple candidates for the following shifts to deliver a brilliant visitor experience:
1. 1 candidate for 3 days per week (Mon to Wed from 9am – 5pm)
2. 1 candidate for 2 days per week (Thu & Fri 9am to 5pm)
3. 3 candidates for 1 day per week (flexible 9am to 5pm)
We will discuss your preferences at screening call stage.
The Skills
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage a diverse audience.
* Previous experience delivering public or schools visits would be preferable but not essential.
* Friendly, approachable and confident manner.
* A keen interest in nuclear power, energy, and sustainability.
* Previous experience in a customer-facing role.
* Strong organisational skills and a proactive approach to tasks.
* Highly motivated and enthusiastic.

Sizewell C Limited (Sizewell C) is nuclear site licensed company whose business is to design, finance, construct, commission, operate, maintain, and eventually decommission the nuclear power plant and related infrastructure at Sizewell C in Suffolk.
