The Venues
Levy UK is the official catering partner to Chelsea FC & Brentford FC responsible for the catering at both venues. Chelsea Football Club estate, including Stamford Bridge stadium, Chelsea FC’s training facility in Surrey, Frankie’s Bar & Grill and the Womens team home ground at Kingsmeadow has been in the Levy family since 2005. Levy Cleaning is the estate wide cleaning service for Chelsea FC. At Chelsea we cater for an estimated 1.15 million fans annually, delivering catering across 43 public outlets, 58 boxes and 20 suites on match-days. There are over 1,000 corporate and private events held at Stamford Bridge each year. The new Community Stadium at Brentford FC was mobilised by Levy in 2020/21 and caters for up to 17,500 on a match day with a fast-growing non-matchday business.
Nature and Scope of Role
Delivering timely and accurate financial reporting through the completion of daily tasks including takings reconciliation for the sales and purchase ledger function. Underpinned by an organised and proactive attitude with a focus on relevant company and finance policies.
Focus Areas
1. Finance:
o Purchases & Costs:
1. Reconciliation of all purchases using Foodbuy & SAP bi-weekly
2. Highlighting and investigating variances
3. Reviewing all outstanding action on Foodbuy
4. Ensuring all purchases are correctly approved and coded
5. Maximising purchasing compliance
6. Supplier statements
o Sales & Revenue:
1. Reconciliation of daily taking for all operational units, investigating and highlighting variances
2. Monthly, matchday and adhoc billings
3. Ensuring correct client codes and/or purchase order numbers are used
4. On account charges, approval and cross-charging
5. Maximising purchasing compliance
6. Supplier statements
o Management Accounts:
1. Completion of all reconciliation to month end deadlines
2. Ensure minimal outstanding queries
3. Support with adhoc analysis as required
Other Responsibilities
1. Health & Safety: Maintain compliance and personally demonstrate that you take responsibility for your own and others' safety

Person Specification
1. At least 4 years experience in a finance role
2. Ideally studying for CIMA/ACCA
3. Accuracy and the ability to hit time pressured deadlines
4. Confidently able to manage a wide range of activities across a fast-moving business, in a calm and structured manner
5. Well organised, process driven with the ability to problem solve
6. Can communicate well with all levels of colleagues and will have the confidence to persevere
7. Flexibility and a can-do attitude
