Our Ladys Care Home, based in Belfast is currently recruiting an Activities Therapistto join their friendly, caring, and progressive Care Home. This is a vital role within the Home, working as a team to deliver excellent care to much-loved residents. About the role Key Responsibilities: Working as part of a team to deliver excellent quality, person-centred activities, and social activities for residents. Plan special events and group activities, on occasion creating personalised plans for residents. Experience and a passion for Arts and Drama related activities. Facilitate opportunities for residents to spend time together. Ability to work set hours, flexible to meet the needs of the organisation. Must have a good command of written and spoken English. Relevant vocational qualifications (achieved or working towards). Experience working with elderly residents suffering from dementia. Knowledge of care of the elderly patients' Charter of Rights.
