Education and Training
£12.50 - £13.50 Per hour
- Provide support to students with learning difficulties or disabilities
- Assist in the implementation of individual education plans
- Support classroom teachers in delivering tailored learning activities
- Help students develop their social and life skills
- Monitor and track student progress and behaviour
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
- Experience working with children or young adults
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
Prior experience working with children or young adults is preferred
- Understanding of special educational needs and disabilities
- Ability to provide individualised support to students
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Organisational skills and ability to multitask
- Level 2 or 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools
- First Aid certification
This role involves working in an educational setting with students who have learning difficulties or disabilities. The work may be physically and emotionally demanding at times. The role may also require occasional evening or weekend work for school events or meetings.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
