Position: Band 6 Paediatric Accident & Emergency (A&E) Nurse
Location: Sandwell and Birmingham NHS Hospitals
Employment: Full-time & Part-time, permanent – 37.5 hours + flexible working options
Salary: £35,392 – £42,618 per annum + benefits

Role Overview
As a Band 6 nurse in Paediatric A&E, you will play a vital role in the emergency department, providing high-quality care, overseeing the unit, and leading clinical practice.
* Evaluate, plan, and implement care programs independently
* Manage daily operations of the unit, especially in the absence of senior staff
* Provide leadership and serve as a role model for your team
* Supervise students, junior nurses, and other team members
The Ideal Candidate
* Registered with NMC as RSCN/RN Child
* At least 3 years of post-registration experience in paediatric acute settings (emergency experience not required)
* Mentorship qualification or willingness to obtain within the first year
