Sales Representative - Recycling Industry (North West UK)

North West (Including areas such as Blackpool, Windermere, and the Lakes.

As they expand their operations in the North West region, our client is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Representative to drive business growth and promote our recycling services.
Job Description:
As a Sales Representative in the recycling industry, you will be responsible for developing and expanding our customer base in the North West region. Your primary focus will be on generating new business opportunities, building strong relationships with clients, and promoting our recycling services to businesses, municipalities, and organisations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Identify and target potential customers in the North West region to promote our recycling services.
* Conduct market research to understand client needs, industry trends, and competitor activities.
* Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and business growth objectives.
* Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers, providing excellent customer service and support.
* Collaborate with the sales team and other departments to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.
* Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and quotes to prospective clients.
* Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients, ensuring terms are aligned with company policies.
* Provide regular reports on sales activities, pipeline status, and market insights to the management team.
Qualifications and Skills:
* Proven track record in sales, preferably in the recycling industry or related field.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively.
* Strong customer service orientation and a proactive approach to building client relationships.
* Knowledge of environmental sustainability practices and recycling industry trends is an advantage.
* Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and capable of working independently to achieve targets.
* Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the North West region.
* Proficiency in MS Office suite and CRM software for sales tracking and reporting.
Hours of work:
Monday- Thursday 8.30 am-4.30 pm
Friday 9 am - 1 pm
(35 hour working week)
