Key Duties
* Managing & developing a book of commercial business;
* Working with introducers generating and nurturing thriving new business pipeline(s);
* Ensuring timely renewals and healthy renewal/retention ratio;
Required Experience
* Extensive (a minimum of 2 years) commercial products experience and knowledge, in an executive or senior account handler role.
* Preferably experience dealing with clients within the hospitality or construction and liability spaces.
* Acturis broking systems experience would be highly desirable.
Crucial Qualities
* Innate relationship builder, effortlessly developing and maintaining strong, effective relationships with clients, insurers, underwriters and colleagues.
* Excellent relationships in place with introducers, supporting you with a steady stream of new business qualified leads.
* Strong commercial account executive experience, appreciating the importance of delivering outstanding client service.
* Driven by meeting (and preferably exceeding) clients' needs.
* Proven sales track record demonstrating measurable growth in your current position.
* Full driving licence required; access to a car for business use is useful.
Personal Skills
* Confident and accomplished communicator, both by phone and face-to-face.
* Highly organised, with great time management and rigorous at keeping on top of your (timely) admin.
* Accuracy and attention to detail are crucial as you assume greater autonomy and responsibility.
* Expert at organising your own workload and managing your own diary.
Required Qualifications
* Cert CII qualified, working towards it, or motivated to do so.
* Diploma in Insurance would be useful but is not essential.
There will be full support for professional development with on-the-job training and external professional development courses.
