Job Title Senior Quality Manager - Key Suppliers Job Description Senior Quality Manager – Key Suppliers The Emergency Care business relies heavily on business partnerships with key strategic partners including OEM and Contract Manufacturers. The EC Business Quality organization is expected to drive alignment and improvement in addition to ensuring day-to-day operations for quality and compliance. Your role: To formulate and implement the Business’ long-range quality, regulatory and compliance policy so that growth targets are met To lead and direct organizational development and process, specifically functioning as a key strategic business partner (e.g. OEM, contract manufacturers). To be accountable for development and delivery of Supplier Quality Assurance strategy in the business to ensure compliance to regulatory requirements and procedures for regulated products/processes. Manages all inspections and questions relating to the operation of the manufacturing sites in coordination with all other applicable company groups. To manage product recall activities to include recall policies and procedures for the company and facilitate product complaint activities and processes. To ensure that all products to be released comply with all the relevant safety and environmental policies and regulations by implementing requirements, conditions and enablers in the Business. Support suppliers with Audits Interact with all areas involved in the product development process, customer services, service and solution delivery, and sales and marketing and provide direction and consultation. Senior management reviews objectives to determine success of operation. Involved in developing, modifying and executing company policies that affect immediate operations and may also have company-wide effect. This role is based in our Farnborough office You’re right for this role if you: Have experience of regularly interacting with senior management or executive levels on matters concerning several functional areas, divisions, and/or customers. Have experience working with suppliers including contract manufacturers and have the confidence to change the thinking of, or gain acceptance from, others in sensitive situations, without damage to the relationship. Can manage & monitor program and project activities to proactively assess & respond to risks spanning multiple projects and integrate project progress/escalations/corrective action for management team reporting. Have the experience needed to ensure that the supplier partners related risks (quality and compliance) are controlled and mitigated. Deploy and follow-up on the Supplier Quality Assurance Related KPI’s towards the suppliers and SQE’s Are comfortable analysing data to detect unusual and non-recurring related supply problems requiring diagnosis, testing and judgement of which approach or procedure is most appropriate Have a continuous improvement mindset to recommend strategic directions, policies and establishes quality management directives Have experience with compliance to FDA regulations and other Regulatory Agencies as required, guidelines and policies to all products and operations are consistent with those regulations. Manage a compliant and effective QMS for the activities in scope, effective and lean QMS structures and documents for Quality and Regulatory (Q&R) processes at all levels for Class II devices pparticularly 21 CFR, ISO 13485, and GAMP 5.
