Role Outline To assist the Head of Government Security & Vetting and Deputy Security Controller in managing ADS’s process for our Pre-Employment Screening Service and sponsoring National Security Vetting (NSV) level security clearances for staff and member companies, including aftercare requirements and invoicing. As a Security Vetting Administrator for ADS, you’ll play a crucial part in assisting members by processing requests for pre-employment screening and national security vetting. You’ll also assist in delivering training, guidance, and governance to our member companies. You’ll join part of an expanding team in the ADS Security Vetting Team and assist in administering the day-to-day operations with support from the ADS Security Vetting Team and wider ADS Government Security Services. The NSV machinery is changing, and the job holder will also support us in implementing changes necessary and help shape our offer to members going forward. This full-time role presents a great opportunity to work in a vital business function for ADS, that supports across all our sectors. There will be an opportunity to focus on customer service and liaise with key figures across member companies and in government. The role sits within the Government Security Services in ADS, where you will work with a close-knit team and have an opportunity to shape your role and develop your career in a fascinating sector. This role will require occasional domestic travel within the United Kingdom and overnight stays. Skills & Competencies Qualifications UK citizen, with the last 5 years residency in the UK with ability to gain security clearance at Security Check (SC) level. Must be willing to attend and complete the DISA Introduction to Security Vetting & Personnel Security course (permanent staff).
