The Role:
Based in Canterbury, and reporting to the Managing Director, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities to grow sales. In this varied and hands-on role, you will be an integral part of the operations, helping the team to schedule, manufacture, fabricate and install windows and doors for the residential market, ensuring on-time delivery. This position would suit someone ready to take the next step in their career!
* Identify sales leads and convert them into business opportunities
* Provide exceptional solutions-based advice on aluminium joinery
* Complete site measurements and compile professional detailed quotations
* Assist management with operational workflow and staff priorities
* Build and maintain strong relationships internally and externally to the organisation
* ‘Jump-in’ and help the team get product out in a timely and efficient manner
* Commit to quality and safety procedures
Skills and Experience:
* Experience in installation, sales or manufacturing of aluminium joinery products, or similar trade (an advantage)
* Proven business development/account management experience (an advantage)
* Excellent communication, influencing, and relationship skills
* Previous leadership experience in a manufacturing environment with a ‘can do’ attitude
* Proficient administrative and computer skills
* A proactive and problem-solving attitude, driven to exceed expectations for the customer and the team
* A valid and clean full driver’s licence
