Business Services Co-ordinator - Chippenham Summary If you’re brilliant at organisation and creating order, and you love working with people, upholding high standards in service and presentation, then this could be the role for you. We’re looking for a Business Services Co-ordinator to join us at Lacock Abbey & House. You may be asked to work weekends and bank holidays, to work outside sometimes, and to support and sometimes travel to other National Trust sites. What it's like to work here You’ll be joining a friendly team working across the Lacock and North Wiltshire portfolio (Lacock, The Courts Garden, Great Chalfield Manor and Garden and Westwood Manor). Working out of the Estate Office at Lacock you’ll report to the Facilities Manager as part of the facilities and business services team. Whilst having a role delivering for the facilities and leadership team, you will also be the face of the property for visitors and contractors coming to site. This role offers variety and a chance to get involved in many aspects of the property operation. One day you may be taking meter readings or attending a regional Business Services meeting, and another planning a Christmas party for our volunteers. Business Services is the heart of a property, and you'll work closely with all departments in this role – a staff team of approx. 50 and volunteer team of over 350 people. Visitors flock to this quirky 13th century abbey to enjoy the museum dedicated to photographic pioneer William Henry Fox Talbot. Outdoor theatre, photography exhibitions and family trails are among the innovative events run by the 40 staff members and local volunteers, making for a lively and fun visitor experience. It’s likely you will need your own transport to get here, however this is a great opportunity to join a welcoming team and contribute to an exciting programme of events.
