Senior Trusts &/or Major Giving Fundraiser, Surrey, c£28 – £32k DOE.
Fantastic opportunity for a Fundraiser to join this well-established disability charity in Surrey during an exciting capital appeal campaign. Leading and mentoring a Trusts and Foundations Executive, the charity is looking for a candidate from either an experienced Trusts and Foundations Fundraising background AND/OR from a Major Donor/Major Gifts Fundraiser background. One of the major Trust Organizations they are working with has a very important and influential figurehead, and this role will work closely with this individual and team to develop further income streams through family members and other contacts, requiring excellent stewardship, interpersonal, and communication skills.
You will be comfortable in writing proposals and developing relationships for 4, 5, and 6 figure donations, with strong research skills and the ability to contribute to the overall Philanthropy strategy for growth. You can develop compelling propositions and have excellent stewardship skills in developing and deepening donor relationships. You possess good IT literacy (MS Office suite) and solid CRM skills (experience with Raiser’s Edge or other systems is acceptable). Ideally, you will have some supervisory experience, as you will line manage the Trusts Executive, organizing regular 1-2-1’s, personal development plans, setting objectives, and providing mentoring support.
Salary is dependent upon experience, starting at £28,000, with flexibility up to £32,000 for a suitably experienced individual. A substantial package includes pension, healthcare/dental scheme, retail concessions, and use of a fleet car for work-related visits/meetings.
