An opportunity exists at Hertford Regional College for a dynamic Lecturer in Childcare and Health and Social Care, for a fixed term contract, who will deliver the full range of professional services associated with programmes of teaching, learning, assessment and student support. Your main responsibilities will be to deliver on the Childcare and Health and Social Care level 1 courses, with some teaching on level 2 and 3, whilst also supporting learners with developing their English and Maths skills. There will also be personal tutor and programme manager responsibilities for the level 1 Childcare and Health and Social Care students associated with this role.
You will be an enthusiastic qualified teacher with experience of teaching the underpinning theory related to Childcare/Health and Social Care. You will have personal tutor experience as well as experience of working in a learning environment and industry experience. You should be a flexible team player with excellent organisational skills and a proven track record of supporting students with additional academic and emotional needs.
