C31 is a fast-paced unit specialising in Surgical Emergency Admissions. We are looking for a dedicated, patient-focused and reliable senior nurse to provide commitment to the highest standards of care for our emergency admissions.

Main duties of the job
You will be self-driven, innovative with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will also be highly motivated with a desire to provide the highest standards of care, whilst demonstrating clear leadership. You will provide support and supervision of nursing and non-nursing staff; assist in maintaining and monitoring standards through Nursing Metrics Dashboard, Essence of Care Benchmarks and Trust Infection Control Audits and standards.

Training and Qualifications
* Current level one NMC registration
* Degree in health/nursing related studies
* Relevant post-basic study relevant to specialty
* Have a suitable Teaching & Assessing/Mentoring Qualification
* Formal leadership and management training
* Research training/experience
* Completion of all local competency packages
Experience
* Post registration experience to include management/leadership experience
* Supervision of non-registered staff, pre-registration and post-basic students
