Calderdale College is seeking to recruit a Pastoral and Behaviour Coach on a short term temporary basis to cover a staff sabbatical. The role will be responsible for supporting the growing, successful 14-16 provision at Calderdale College.
The successful applicant will join a small and hardworking team who manage the Early College Transfer programme for younger learners in an FE setting. You will work pro-actively with students and college tutors to support learners to achieve academic and personal success. This may include implementing interventions to address social, emotional and behavioural needs of students and building relationships to positively influence students to help them reach their full potential.
Many ECT learners have not attended educational setting previously therefore a compassionate approach is essential to be able to support those students experiencing emotional issues effecting their learning and well -being. You will also be working with parents to promote a whole wrap around approach to every child's education.
