Welcome patients and visitors in a warm and friendly manner ensuring a high standard of customer service at all times. Escort patients to their rooms and explain the facilities to ensure they feel comfortable within their surroundings. Communicate effectively; ensuring information is conveyed clearly and requests are responded to appropriately. Ensure all enquiries are answered promptly and referred to the correct department. Maintain a safe and clean reception area by complying with procedures, rules and regulations. Prepare relevant paperwork for patients prior to their arrival. Obtain contracts from private inpatients, day cases and emergency admissions. Explain the conditions of payment and clarify insurance details with patients. Process and record all payments received from patients in line with Trust policies. Accurately record data onto relevant computer systems Scan required paperwork onto Compucare healthcare computer system. Ensure strict confidentiality at all times.
