Senior Recruitment Consultant Upwards- permanent - Leeds - Hays Education The Opportunity The Hays Education Division in Leeds, is a 4-person team, covering schools, academies and multi academy trusts across the West Yorkshire area, both temp and perm. Our team have over 80 years of experience in the Education market and have a high-performance mindset, delivering impressive year on year growth. However, they also promote flexibility to support work life balance. The Leeds office services a number of industries including Construction, Legal, HR, Business Support and Technology. A short walk from the train station, the office is complete with breakout rooms, booths for team meetings and a furnished rooftop terrace where everyone regularly takes part in activities and celebrations. The Desk: This is an established desk recruiting for primary schools across the Bradford area, sourcing teachers and teaching assistants for temporary supply assignments, lasting from just a day, through to long term absences and maternity covers, along with roles on a permanent basis. There is great opportunity to grow the desk further as there are over 150 primary schools in the area. There are existing school relationships in place with a growing daybook, but also the chance to develop your own new business. What can I expect day to day? As an experienced Recruitment Consultant, you'll have the freedom to do things differently, supported by colleagues and a leadership team with a wealth of experience in the education recruitment sector. Your job role will include: Running a fast paced 360 temp desk Provide expert, specialist advice to candidates and clients Develop and implement effective individual business and sales plans Working longer hours during term time, 7am-4:30pm, with reduced hours during holidays, 8am-2pm Facilitate to an advanced level the end to end recruitment process, including bespoke packages Lead by example through exceptional, consistent fee performance, activity, and attitude Consistently develop market intelligence Working with the leadership team on initiatives and projects Here at Hays, you really can influence your own earning potential, by getting out what you put in.
