As an Electrician, you will install and maintain electrical systems and components in industrial settings, including wiring, conduit, and electrical panels.
Specifically, your key responsibilities will include:
1. Perform regular inspections and preventive maintenance on industrial electrical systems to identify and address potential issues before they become major problems.
2. Diagnose and repair electrical problems in industrial equipment and machinery. Use testing devices and tools to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
3. Interpret and work from electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate installation and repair of electrical systems.
4. Ensure that all electrical work complies with relevant safety codes, regulations, and standards. Adhere to company policies and procedures related to electrical work.
5. Follow and promote safety protocols to create a safe working environment. Identify and address potential safety hazards related to electrical systems.
6. Work closely with other personnel, engineers, and production teams to coordinate electrical work and support overall operations.
7. Maintain accurate records of electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance activities. Provide documentation for compliance and reference purposes.
About you
We would like to hear from you if you have:
1. Level 3 Electrical qualification / completion of an apprenticeship program in Electrical industry.
2. Proven experience as an electrician in Industrial settings.
3. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, components, and safety standards.
4. Full UK Driving License.
5. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
6. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
7. Strong attention to detail and precision in work.
8. Effective communication and collaboration skills.
