We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Admissions Officer to join an esteemed education institution based in Central London. As an Admissions Officer, you will play a crucial role in coordinating and implementing the processing of student applications for our client. Reporting to the Head of the Admissions Department, you will ensure a consistent and transparent applicant experience.
Responsibilities:
* Managing the administration and processing of applications, including providing professional advice and guidance.
* Assessing qualifications and fee assessment.
* Collaborating with the Student Recruitment and Outreach team to drive conversion and recruitment activities.
* Supporting international admissions, compliance, and English language requirements.
* Monitoring and processing UCAS/Direct applications.
* Supervising and providing training for Admissions Assistants.
* Generating and analysing applications statistics, reports, and papers.
* Delivering high-quality customer service through IAG provision and representation at events.
* Continuously reviewing and enhancing admissions processes and policies.
* Building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements:
* Education to degree level or equivalent.
* Understanding of higher education admissions processes.
* Knowledge of external agencies such as UCAS, SPA, UKVI.
* Previous experience in an office or customer service-based environment.
* Strong communication, organisation, and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and analyse data.
* Proactive, flexible, and committed approach to work.
* Understanding of equal opportunities and data protection.
* Willingness to work flexible hours and travel as required.
