About the Role:

We are seeking a Corporate Accountant to join a well-established accountancy practice and play a key role in their corporate team. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified or part-qualified accountant looking to develop their career in a dynamic and varied environment. The role includes accounts preparation, tax, bookkeeping, VAT, and audit work, offering exposure to a broad client portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Plan, prepare, and review accounts, bookkeeping, and VAT returns for a range of clients.
2. Prepare personal and corporate tax returns, ensuring compliance with HMRC regulations.
3. Advise clients on accounting software (Xero, Sage, QuickBooks) and assist with system setup and troubleshooting.
4. Stay up to date with industry developments and software updates to enhance efficiency.
5. Provide ad hoc support to the line manager, including administrative tasks and team billing.
6. Set budgets for staff and provide guidance on accounts completion.
