You will work collaboratively in the planning, delivery and evaluation of training and education across the organisation. You will work alongside Senior Educators to broaden and deepen the skills and knowledge of our non-medical workforce at CUH. We are looking for a highly motivated individual who will strive to deliver and evaluate high quality education, both in the classroom and clinical area, empowering learners to expand their knowledge and develop their careers.

Main duties of the job
1. To work across CUH Trust promoting high quality education and support both clinically and educationally.
2. Plan, implement and evaluate Trust wide blended learning programs for learners to enable competent evidence based care.
3. Work collaboratively in the planning, delivery and evaluation of clinical skills, eLearning and training programmes to meet Trust priorities for newly appointed and existing staff.
4. Facilitate the development of learners ensuring they develop appropriate competence and skills.
5. Facilitate mandatory training programmes to meet statutory and mandatory requirements.
6. Undertake corporate project work and evaluations linked to development, education and training.

Person Specification
Qualifications
* Registered nursing, midwifery or Allied Health Professional.
* Degree or willingness to work towards.
* Recognised teaching and/or assessment qualification, i.e. PG CERT or willingness to work towards.
* Professional Nurse Advocate or willingness to work towards.
* MSc in a relevant subject.
* Leadership training or qualification.
Experience
* Recent experience of working within an acute clinical environment and/or working with Post-registration learners in practice.
* Experience of leading clinical teams.
* Experience in teaching within a classroom setting and in clinical areas.
* Experience in undertaking clinical audit and evaluations.
* Evidence of implementing and improving patient care/experience.
* Multi-professional working across traditional boundaries.
* Project management.
* Facilitation of groups.
* Able to demonstrate innovation within the workplace.
* Experience of writing clinical policies and procedures.
* Data Base Management.
* Coaching qualification.
* Recent experience of working with internal and external partners.
Knowledge
* Able to demonstrate understanding of the job role priorities in respect of current NHS, Nursing and Midwifery Council standards, HCPC standards, CQC standards.
* Able to demonstrate professional regulatory requirements within NMC and HCPC frameworks.
