We’re working with a top-tier UK law firm with a strong reputation in infrastructure, energy, and real estate to find a talented Non-Contentious Construction Solicitor to join their specialist team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on some of the UK’s most high-profile and cutting-edge development and energy projects.
You’ll be part of a collaborative, forward-thinking construction team with the choice to be based in Glasgow or Edinburgh, supporting clients on major developments across the country. The work is varied, interesting, and high impact—ideal for someone looking to deepen their expertise in the non-contentious construction space.
What You’ll Be Working On:
* Advising on the construction elements of major property developments and regeneration projects, including development agreements, building contracts, and consultant appointments
* Supporting complex engineering and energy infrastructure projects – think onshore wind, hydro, battery storage, solar, and more
* Drafting, negotiating, and advising on a wide range of construction and engineering contracts
* Working closely with a diverse client base of developers, funders, contractors, consultants, and public sector bodies
* Engaging in business development activities and nurturing long-term client relationships
What You Bring to the Table:
* Minimum 2 years’ PQE in non-contentious construction law
* Strong drafting and technical skills, with a commercial and practical mindset
* The ability to manage your own caseload while collaborating on larger matters
* Confidence to present legal advice clearly to clients and colleagues
* Enthusiasm for the construction and infrastructure sector, and an eagerness to grow in this space
You'll be part of a team that's at the forefront of renewable energy and real estate innovation in the UK. Expect variety, autonomy, and a clear path for progression. The culture here encourages continuous learning, collaboration, and the development of strong commercial acumen.
Whether you're advising on the legal nuances of a wind farm project or drafting contracts for a landmark regeneration scheme, your work will make a visible difference.
