Role: Senior Associate, Content Production Reports to: Head of Product Operations Location: London Workplace type: Full time. Hybrid: 2 days in office each week plus 1 extra per month. Role Overview This role is critical in providing a world-class experience to our procurement, sustainability and wider business communities through the creation of high-value content and current business journalism. The Senior Associate at Procurement Leaders will create community-derived content augmented with traditional research to create captivating, insightful and objective research deliverables. They will interview C-suite executives, use qualitative and quantitative data and have a natural curiosity of the business world to deliver annual studies, bespoke research, case studies and more. The successful candidate may also play a part in delivering and presenting this world-class content to members through our various channels. Typical experience for a successful candidate might include current B2B journalists and editors, current analysts with a passion for customer-facing activities, junior consultants or those with a research background. The Opportunity Our content producers report on some of the most intriguing business conversations in the world; with a focus largely on procurement, supply chain and sustainability. They capture and contextualize the ideas of the C-suite and academics, shared in a variety of settings. Key Responsibilities Lead thinking into research workstreams, forming hypotheses that lead to thought leadership and high-quality reports. Follow a research process (hypothesis generation, inductive and deductive reasoning), and contribute to primary and secondary research efforts to develop a fact-base to form objective insight—this may take the form of written, audio, visual content – including recorded, and live face to face interactions. Write feature articles on business topics such as geopolitics, leadership, and transformation and the impact on our members Write case studies based on information derived from our community Take ownership of all aspects of content produced, to meet quality standards and strict deadlines Partner closely with internal stakeholders to create and deliver commercial and marketing enablement materials Key Qualifications and Proficiencies Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a research analyst or B2B writer. Knowledge of business issues, such as supply chain, procurement, P&L and balance sheet issues and global economics are a plus. Must have a curiosity for global events and their impact on our members (eg geopolitics, economy) with nuance Proficient analytical skills using Excel to effectively contextualize advice based on seniority, region, industry or other firmographics. Understanding of the interdependencies of content and the impact on commercial value proposition. Organized and confident self-starter who can perform in a collaborative environment while achieving challenging goals Ambitious, eager to learn and keep a pulse on all things procurement and supply chain landscape to challenge and delight our clients. A strong communicator through written and spoken word Team-player, ability to work effectively within your team and across global business units.
