Position
available for immediate start for the right candidate, in a new Fire Sealing
Company which is new to the UK market and owned by our sister company which is
one of Irelands leading passive fire businesses (Fire Containment Ltd).
The position

Ideally
candidate will have a proven track record in all aspects of fire sealing/ fire
doors / Intumescent painting, steel encasement/ boarding and be proficient in
the below tasks. Candidate should provide a record of accreditation, training /
qualifications and course attendance.
The company
will be operating in the Newcastle and Tee side areas initially so this
position will be of interest to someone with knowledge of the local market and
surroundings.
· Tendering
new works with full understanding of tender requirements, specifications &
documentation issued by QS’s and clients.
· Ability
to generate new leads and bring new opportunities and clients to the business.
· Tender
submissions including all requisite documentation.
· Product
submittals to clients.
· Organising
Health & Safety requirements and training for operatives.
· Financial
management of projects ensuring targets are being met.
· Project
planning to meet client programmes.
· Supervision
of site managers & supervisors.
· Ensure
projects are on target and budget.
· Meeting
with clients and reporting on project performance and status.
· Ability
to liaise with fire engineers and technical departments on engineering
judgements and solutions to fire sealing problems on site.
· Strong
knowledge of fire sealing technical information to ensure compliance on
projects.
· Strong
knowledge of software to compile client Billing Applications.
· Compliance
management, QA.
· Ability
to carry out Fire compartment Surveys and produce reports and costings.
· Monthly
reporting on project performance to directors.
· Resource
management including Work Load forecasts and labour allocations to projects in
progress.
