The DAACC will be responsible for promoting and delivering a consistent approach to the effective delivery of an AACC services, ensuring robust policies and procedures are in place. The post holder will: Create a vision and strategy for AACC aligned to delivery of the ICS strategic objectives and statutory duties. Ensure strategic development of an operating model to ensure commissioning is safe, effective and equitable. Ensure efficient and effective budgetary management and use of resources, including delivery of Quality Innovation Productivity and Prevention (QIPP) workstreams. Deliver the service, within budgetary constraints and legal frameworks/guidance. Provide expert technical advice internally and to partners as required. Be up to date with statutory and legislative requirements and frameworks, to ensure decision making is fair, equitable and legal. Work closely with ICB Legal team, when required, to provide recommendations and advice to the CNO, on legal matters relating to service delivery. Oversee service complaints, FOIs and MP enquiries, ensuring the ICB Complaints Policy and timeframes are adhered to. Line manage the Deputy Director of AACC Ensure the establishment is managed and deployed effectively and productively. Work with the regional and national NHSE AACC teams, to develop local and national policy, including the escalation of challenges/risks.
