To coordinate the Fitter Futures Warwickshire Stop Smoking Service by:
1. Managing the delivery of face-to-face group and 1-to-1 stop smoking clinics and supporting the Stop Smoking team.
2. Providing a leadership role in the development of the Stop Smoking Services.
3. Ensuring the service data is inputted in a timely and effective manner.
4. Supporting the development of an engagement strategy to target specific community groups, particularly those in areas of greatest need, to tackle inequalities in health through promoting and supporting healthier behaviour and lifestyle choices.
5. Managing relationships with key stakeholders, including hospital trusts, community groups, and primary care.
6. Taking accountability for Stop Smoking team KPIs and ensuring weekly/monthly updates are provided to the Operations Manager.
This post will
This role will be full-time and will be based from the Everyone Health Office in Hinckley, Leicestershire, covering the whole of Warwickshire county with a focus on face-to-face services in targeted areas. It may require working evenings and weekends.
Main duties of the job

JOB DESCRIPTION
MAIN PURPOSE
The Stop Smoking Service Coordinator's key responsibilities are to be the service coordinator leading a team of stop smoking practitioners, delivering a face-to-face smoking cessation service across Warwickshire as part of the Everyone Health Fitter Futures Warwickshire service. This includes developing, monitoring, and evaluating the Stop Smoking service delivery.
Support the National Operations Manager to ensure the service is of high profile and there is strong awareness in relation to the referral pathway to access the service.
Ensure the Stop Smoking service delivery provides a consistent continuum of support, aiding service users with navigation of their pathway interventions.
Be responsible for service development to raise the profile of the services within and across local networks.
Support the team to identify and engage with individuals from agreed target groups and communities to facilitate communication regarding promoting their health and wellbeing, and the Stop Smoking service.
To support the team to develop and maintain relationships with individuals experiencing the greatest inequalities in health and provide information about the relationship between behaviours and health.
To liaise with the local community to identify local leaders, champions, and advocates, ensuring that the service develops in line with local needs and is embedded in the local community.
To champion and adhere to processes and procedures to identify and strive for continuing improved quality throughout the patient pathway, together with robust data management.
To take responsibility and accountability for delivery against an agreed set of KPIs.
To meet internal and external performance management requirements, including weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting targets for a variety of measures.
Be responsible for ensuring rigorous and regular data inputting to maintain accurate records in accordance with Everyone Health procedures, ensuring compliance with Information Governance and Data Protection regarding patient information.
Take an active part in developing own knowledge and skills of others through mentoring, supervision, and review.

* Understanding of harmful effects of smoking, smoking as an addiction behaviour, withdrawal, and relapse.
* Clear understanding of the range and appropriate use of different smoking cessation interventions.
* Computer literate, with the ability to maintain and monitor information systems in line with the national minimum dataset and adapt to reflect local needs.

Qualifications
