If you’re ready to make a real difference and enjoy working with pace to have impact in solving meaningful challenges, then this could be the opportunity for you The role will report into our Director What You’ll Be Doing Establish the operational systems and infrastructure that support scalability, growth, and efficiency across the business Manage the finance function, providing key strategic insights to the fractional CFO, and leadership team Manage and monitor cash flow Draft and prepare budgets and forecasts with the fractional CFO Align financial strategies with long-term business goals Review key financial metrics to track SaaS revenue performance as well as analyse and interpret SaaS metrics such as MRR, ARR, churn, CAC, and net revenue retention to provide insights and financial dashboards for real-time performance monitoring Collaborate with department heads to streamline operational workflows and improve team efficiency Implement strategies that support operational scalability as the company grows, focusing on automation, process standardisation, and efficient tool roll outs Oversee subscription billing cycles, ensuring accuracy and financial transparency Prepare compliance documentation or reports for audit Responsible for managing accurate financial reporting, compliance documentation, and risk management to support the company’s overall financial health and strategic objectives Hire, manager and mentor a team member, providing guidance to help them grow and succeed. Manage relationships with vendors and suppliers, ensuring smooth operations Roll out or optimise tools and systems to enhance scalability and efficiency Tackle ad hoc challenges that help us move closer to our mission of creating inclusive spaces for all About you Strong knowledge of financial and operational systems, including HubSpot, Monday.com, Xero, reporting or BI tools (such as Reach or Tableau), Google Suite, and expense automation platforms (e.g., Moss, Pleo, Spendesk) Proven experience in finance and operations, with a focus on developing, documenting, and optimising processes and workflows to enhance operational efficiency Proficiency in managing operational metrics, KPIs, and performance indicators relevant to a SaaS environment Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools to facilitate effective project execution and team collaboration Strong analytical skills for assessing operational performance and identifying areas for improvement A finance qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA) is preferred Previous experience in a Finance Manager or Senior Operations role within a technology company is highly desirable What we offer The role is a MG4 (manager, mid level), salary band: £47,600 to £59,000 depending on experience (you can view our salary bands here ) Career development and compensation Career progression and growth and impact frameworks Salary reviews every 6 months.
