Our client is seeking a skilled and motivated Assistant Finance Manager to join their finance team. This role is perfect for a finance professional with experience in nominal reconciliations, journals, accruals, prepayments, and fixed assets. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records, handling VAT returns, and managing cash flow processes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct nominal reconciliations and manage journals, accruals, prepayments, and fixed assets
* Prepare and process VAT returns accurately and efficiently
* Support cash flow management and forecasting
* Handle large volumes of financial data with exceptional attention to detail
* Provide ad-hoc analysis to support business decisions and reporting requirements
Qualifications and Skills:
* Previous experience in an Assistant Accountant, Finance Analyst, or similar role
* Strong working knowledge of Excel, with expertise in data handling and spreadsheet management
* Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work effectively under pressure
* Experience within an SME environment is desirable, along with a proactive attitude and willingness to expand responsibilities
