Protocol Education are recruiting for a Cover Supervisor within a Secondary School in Shropshire.

Role: Cover Supervisor
Location: Shropshire
Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm
Start Date: Monday 6th January 2025
Qualifications: Relevant experience in education or related fields is desirable but not essential. Strong interpersonal and classroom management skills are essential.

Key Responsibilities:
* Supervise whole classes during the short-term absence of teachers.
* Ensure students are engaged in pre-set learning activities and support their understanding to achieve the learning objectives.
* Maintain good behaviour and promote an atmosphere conducive to learning.
* Act as a positive role model, setting high expectations for conduct and behaviour.
Ideal Candidate:
* Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage and motivate students.
* Able to support and guide students through their learning activities, ensuring they stay on task.
* Enthusiastic, proactive, and committed to maintaining a positive and respectful environment.
* Experience working with children in a school setting is preferred but not required.
