The support you'll provide will be centred around each person's values, preferences, and needs, which could include developing daily living skills, accessing a wider community, personal care, and medication needs.

You will:
1. Be a confident problem solver and creative thinker with good communication skills
2. Have resilience to overcome challenges
3. Possess a positive can-do attitude
4. Be an innovative problem solver willing to try new activities
5. Have experience working with people with a learning disability, including supporting people whose behaviour may be considered challenging (desirable)
6. Experience of working with multi-disciplinary teams
7. Previous management experience is desirable but not essential
8. Hold a Diploma in health and social care level 2 or equivalent (level 3 is desirable)
9. Hold a full UK driving licence
Your responsibilities:
1. Support the individuals in all aspects of their daily life, enabling their fullest participation in the life of their community
2. Support people to achieve their personal outcomes
3. Be assigned area(s) of lead responsibility; for example, autism, personality disorder, speech and language, positive behaviour management, psychiatry, or health
4. Liaise with external professionals and devise support plans and risk assessments relating to your lead area
5. Communicate this specialist knowledge to colleagues to produce a coherent and integrated package of support
6. In the future, you may line manage support workers
