As a Workshop Manager, you will be welcomed into a friendly team and have the opportunity to work with an exciting brand.
What will you be doing?
* Identify & implement the long term planning of future training activities for workshop colleagues.
* Carry out warranty repairs as directed, returning displaced material to the correct location and in correct condition.
* Compile and maintain a resource plan for the workshop and develop concepts and measures for load optimisation.
* Ensure planning for facilities, bays, machines, tools, diagnosis installations, etc. is carried out correctly; optimal design of workplaces and processes.
* Employ new staff and develop an induction plan.
* Manage, coach and motivate employees to ensure a high quality of staff.
* Define target agreements with employees and review the level of target achievement through regular 1-2-1s.
* Monitor and optimise productivity and performance of employees.
* Ensure job time planning and task allocation for the workshop is carried out correctly.
* Monitor compliance with all statutory regulations and ensure quality control of all completed tasks.
What are we looking for?
* Full UK Driving Licence.
* Motor Industry experience in a similar role is essential.
* Able to work independently and as part of a team.
* Ability to work to timescales effectively.
* Keen eye for detail, good communication, and a passion for delivering great customer service.
