We have an exciting opportunity to be part of the new ACP model at the Friarage Hospital Urgent Treatment Centre and join our team within the Urgent Treatment Centre at The Friarage Hospital Northallerton, working in collaboration with our acute colleagues in The Friarage, James Cook University Hospital, GP Out of Hours, and local PCN's.
We are currently looking to recruit a new team of Advanced Clinical Practitioners, with demonstrable experience in autonomous practice within Urgent Treatment Centre or Emergency Department. Candidates must have completed the ACP MSc programme.
If you haven't completed the full ACP programme candidates will be supported to enrol on the ACP MSc programme and will be paid as a Band 7 until the course is complete.

Main duties of the job
This role will be at an advanced clinical level in the direct delivery of high-quality care making critical clinical decisions based on advanced clinical skills assessment. Working effectively across all four pillars of advanced clinical practice as set out by Health Education England (2017).
The post holder will be able to evidence all four pillars of the advanced clinical practice framework and benchmark to advanced clinical practice levels across all four pillars.
The post holder will provide clinical leadership and support within the nursing/AHP teams in developing the service to improve the patient experience.
You will be/have:
* Registered healthcare practitioner
* Independent non-medical prescribing (where legally permitted)
* Portfolio demonstrating continued professional development and ongoing assessments
* ILS/ALS provider
* Formal research module completed at level 7 (master's level).
