Collaborating closely with the Account Director, you will craft compelling customer plans that deliver a triple win for Sofina, our customers, and consumers alike. In this role, your mission will be to propel sustainable and competitive volume growth. You will achieve this by developing and executing joint business plans, launching exciting consumer-centric promotional activities, and maintaining a relentless focus on outperforming the market in our key categories. You will also be responsible for managing commercial price negotiations and generating new business through annual tenders and insight-driven product innovations. Deliver the commercial strategy as outlined by the Commercial Director. Collaborate on the development of new business and products, working closely with operations and technical teams. Identify and pursue consumer and market-led opportunities to maximize potential. Achieve results aligned with budgetary targets, analyzing discrepancies and implementing corrective actions as needed. Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with customer accounts through regular visits. Provide accurate budget information to the Commercial Director. Forecast sales and seasonal trends to support planning functions. Prepare detailed customer visit reports and maintain up-to-date account information. Contribute to the monthly commercial board packs with relevant insights. Present and discuss key accounts at monthly commercial board meetings. Manage direct reports to meet and exceed the demands of existing and prospective customers. Offer training, direction, and support to direct reports, ensuring all business objectives are achieved. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of food manufacturing operations and possess the leadership skills necessary to uphold industry-leading compliance standards on behalf of our customers. You’ll be a collaborative team player, demonstrating commercial leadership to provide our key customers with best-in-class service, quality, and alignment to their trading strategies. While experience in the protein or chilled food sector is required, specific experience in pork is not necessary.
