We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Special Educational Needs (SEN) Tutor to support students with a variety of learning needs. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children or young people with learning difficulties and be committed to creating a positive, inclusive learning environment. Responsibilities: Provide tailored, one-on-one tutoring sessions to students with Special Educational Needs. Develop and deliver personalised learning plans in collaboration with school staff and the local authority. Adapt teaching methods and resources to suit individual learning needs. Support students in overcoming barriers to learning, including academic, social, and emotional challenges. Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and reporting to parents, schools, and the local authority. Support students with their confidence, self-esteem, and motivation to learn. Requirements: A strong understanding of Special Educational Needs and inclusive education practices. Experience working with children or young people with learning difficulties, autism, dyslexia, ADHD, or other special educational needs. Relevant qualifications (e.g., SEN Teaching qualification, degree, or SEN-related training) would be beneficial/ QTS/PGCE) Patience, empathy, and an ability to build positive relationships with students. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with parents, teachers, and other professionals.
