What you will do in your working day
* Caring for children
* Preparing and maintaining environments to meet children's needs
* Supporting children's play and learning
* Supporting children's development
* Adhere to all safeguarding practices
* Planning and supervising child initiated and adult led activities
* Implementing the Early Years Foundation Stage
* Planning and providing effective teaching and learning in Early Years settings
* Making accurate and productive use of assessment in Early Years Settings
The training you will be getting
* A level 3 childcare qualification graded via an end point assessment
* Mandatory college attendance of 1 day per month is required
* Level 2 Functional skills in maths & English if required
What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship
There is an option to complete a CACHE Level 3 Early Years Educator diploma alongside the apprenticeship (funded by the employer); this will enable you to practice as a qualified Early Years practitioner and be counted in ratio at Level 3.
