RELIEF DOMESTIC ASSISTANT
£11.44 per hour, rising to £11.66 per hour after a
successful 6 month probationary period
We are looking for individuals to provide absence cover for the domestic team to allow us to maintain a clean, tidy and safe environment for the clients, staff and visitors at The Northam Care Trust and its properties.
The post holder will need to be flexible and available at short notice to cover morning shifts over 6 days per week (not Sundays).
Responsibilities:
• Carry out cleaning routines and ancillary duties in our Residential Services, as specified by the Registered Manager.
• Regularly and efficiently process laundry and prevent an unnecessary build-up of clothing and linen.
• Inform the Registered Manager of materials and equipment needed to perform your duties.
• Keep all laundry areas and storerooms clean, hygienic and safe.
• To work within legal boundaries affecting the post e.g. Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 (and subsequent amendments) and all relevant legislation.
• Adhering to all COSHH guidelines.
