Position
Working as part of the Sales team, the Lead Generator will be responsible for making outbound calls to Corporate/commercial clients within the UK. They will be researching these potential leads and updating the CRM, in order to find out how we can meet the changing needs of the markets. The Lead Generator will take ownership of generating new leads for the business and aim to maximize the potential from each call with an excellent telephone manner and upbeat outlook. In addition, the Lead Generator will convert outbound dialing leads into qualified appointments and pass these leads on to the relevant person to ensure that the potential client will be handled in a professional manner.
The ideal candidate will be a qualified electrician and have experience in the installation of electrical distribution services. Knowledge of PV systems would be advantageous, but training on renewable technologies is available. Candidates who have experience with electrical vehicle charging points are encouraged to apply. This is a great role for an engineer with solar experience to join an ambitious renewable energy company where you will play a key part in their growth and development.
Responsibilities
* Maintaining Executive level confidentiality and operating with integrity.
* Manage administrative tasks in support of the CEO & C-Suite team.
* Manage and organize appointment setting.
* Managing specific projects.
* Reconciling invoices for C-Suite team mileage & expenses.
* Liaising with clients.
* Control of C-Suite team diaries.
* Control of travel arrangements and accommodation.
* Ensuring that processes and procedures are followed within the C-Suite team.
* Control of holiday and sickness planner and records for the C-Suite team.
* Management of training matrix and ensuring all C-Suite team are legally compliant.
* Preparation for management and board meetings, including agenda and preparation of papers.
* Minute taking and action plan provision.
* Ensure that the C-Suite team maintain their focus on agreed deliverables.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
* Act as an ambassador for the business and promote our renewables product range.
* Be responsible for making outbound calls on a daily basis.
* Work closely with the Head of Commercial Sales and Sales team to ensure leads are generated within various sectors.
* Convert the calls to new business leads.
* Inform potential clients about the company’s products and services.
* Gather relevant target company information.
* Use company databases to gain potential leads.
* Be proactive in identifying opportunities for new business.
* Input and maintain information onto the company CRM.
* Ensure CRM is up to date at all times.
* Deal with telephone queries.
* Build relationships with colleagues.
Team and Direct Reports
As part of this role, there is a requirement to lead and partner across the following areas:
* Coordination with the sales team.
* Highly collaborative approach with the Engenera senior team.
Skills and Experience Required
* Solar or renewable energy experience.
* Degree level education in any discipline, but finance or business management would be ideal.
* Analytical approach, commercially astute and financially literate.
* Ability to work autonomously and proactively.
* Strong results orientation and problem-solving skills.
* Passion for excellent client service.
* Diplomatic and engaging communication style with an ability to build positive relationships but challenge thinking when required.
* Ability to think strategically and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
* Outstanding MS Office skills, in particular Excel.
* Right to work in the UK.
